Mariya's journey with the Dangote Group began in 2016, following the completion of her MBA at Coventry University in the United Kingdom. She started her career at Dangote Industries Limited (DIL), the group’s holding company, as a business strategy and risk specialist. A significant step in her career progression came in 2022, with her appointment as Executive Director of Operations at Dangote Sugar Refinery, one of the group’s major subsidiaries.
