Nvidia Corp (NVDA), Apple Inc (AAPL) and Alphabet Inc (GOOGL) lead the ranking by market capitalisation, at $5.26T, $4.77T and $4.05T. They are the top three of 10 US companies and ADRs ranked here. See the full US market ranking for the rest.
Airtel Africa Plc (AIRTELAFRI), Dangote Cement Plc (DANGCEM) and MTN Nigeria Communications Plc (MTNN) lead the ranking by market capitalisation, at ₦23.68T, ₦17.45T and ₦17.07T. They are the top three of 10 companies listed on the Nigerian Exchange. See the full NGX ranking for the rest.
The 10 largest US companies are worth about $28.05T combined, against roughly $82.68B for the 10 largest on the Nigerian Exchange, around 339 times the value. That compares the two top tens, not the exchanges in full, and both totals are converted to US dollars at the current rate so they are measured the same way.
Yes. US companies trade in dollars and Nigerian companies in naira, so “View prices in” converts both at the current market rate. Rankings themselves are always calculated within each market and never merged, so rank 1 means largest on that exchange, not largest overall.
