NRS Extends Saturday Services for Tax Filers

The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has announced an extension of its services to Saturdays, a move designed to assist taxpayers as they navigate the newly launched Rev360 tax administration platform. This initiative is particularly crucial as the service gears up for the June peak period for tax filing.

The announcement was made in a statement signed by the Executive Chairman of the NRS, Dr. Zacch Adedeji, and shared via the agency’s official X handle.

According to the tax authority, all Emerging, Medium, Large, and Government Business Offices nationwide will now operate on Saturdays between May 8 and June 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The NRS stated that these extended operations are intended to help taxpayers familiarize themselves with the Rev360 platform and ensure compliance with their tax obligations during the busy filing season.

The announcement follows the recent launch of Rev360, the NRS’s next-generation tax administration platform, which went live on April 30 as part of the agency’s transition to “Tax Administration 3.0.” The platform is engineered to offer a more integrated, transparent, and efficient tax administration system, building upon previous digital reforms aimed at enhancing taxpayer experience and compliance.

The agency emphasized that the new system underscores its dedication to innovation and improved service delivery within Nigeria’s tax administration framework.
