Champion Breweries Plc has announced that its 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Oriental Hotel, 3 Lekki Road, Victoria Island, Lagos, at 11:00 a.m.
This milestone AGM follows a year of strategic expansion, including the acquisition of Bullet Energy Drink and successful capital raising initiatives. These moves aim to strengthen the company's market position, expand its product portfolio, and enhance shareholder value.
The company has also strengthened its group structure with an 80% stake acquisition in enJOYbev B.V., which is already contributing positively to earnings and validating its international expansion strategy.
The AGM will provide a platform for shareholders to consider the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2025, along with the Reports of the Directors, Auditors, and the Audit Committee. Shareholders will also vote on dividend declarations, the election and re-election of Directors, and the authorization for Directors to set auditor remuneration.
Additionally, shareholders will elect or re-elect representatives to the Audit Committee. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Imo Abasi Jacob, highlighted the past year as a pivotal phase in the company's evolution.
The AGM will be held physically, with provisions for stakeholders to attend virtually via the company's official website, www.championbreweries.com, ensuring broad accessibility and engagement.
