10 NGX Firms Set June 2026 Dividend Qualification Dates

A new set of companies listed on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) will have their dividend qualification dates in June 2026, providing income-focused investors with opportunities to monitor shareholder payouts.

These dates are determined by corporate disclosures filed with the NGX, based on company filings and audited financial statements.

The qualification date is the cutoff point established by a company to identify shareholders entitled to a declared dividend. Investors holding shares on or before this date are eligible for the dividend payment, while those acquiring shares afterward will not receive that specific payout.

The companies involved operate across various key sectors of the economy, including industrial goods, consumer goods, energy, financial services, aviation handling, technology, and manufacturing.

Seplat Energy Plc is notable among the June qualifiers, with plans for both an interim and a special dollar-denominated dividend for eligible shareholders.

McNichols Consolidated Plc has proposed a final dividend of N0.06 per share, with a qualification date set for June 29, 2026, and payment anticipated on August 6, 2026. The company reported a moderate increase in revenue to N6.21 billion in 2025 from N5.80 billion in 2024, a 6.95% rise. Profit after tax saw a significant jump to N346 million from N116 million in the previous year, a 199.22% increase. Retained earnings improved to N365 million from N98 million in 2024, with earnings per share at N0.28.
