In a significant step toward strengthening Nigeria’s electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, Qoray, a clean technology company focused on delivering distributed clean energy and electric mobility solutions to the last mile, has launched a new EV charging station at the iconic Federal Palace Hotel & Casino in the heart of Victoria Island, Lagos.
The newly commissioned station, strategically located within the hotel premises, is now fully operational and open to the public. Positioned in one of Lagos’ most vibrant hospitality and commercial districts, the facility provides a secure and convenient charging solution for EV owners navigating the high-traffic Victoria Island and Ikoyi corridors.
The installation features three 60kWh dual-gun DC fast chargers capable of serving up to six vehicles simultaneously, delivering a 20–80% charge in as little as 30–45 minutes depending on vehicle type. Designed to support both current EV users and prospective adopters, the Federal Palace Hotel facility is also expected to serve fleet operators and corporate mobility services, positioning the site as a strategic charging hub for vehicles operating within the Victoria Island and Ikoyi business districts. By situating the infrastructure within a premium hospitality environment, Qoray reinforces the practicality of electric mobility, allowing guests and visitors to charge while lodging, dining, or attending business engagements.
