Nigerian Breweries Revenue Rises 9% to N804 Billion

Nigerian Breweries has announced its financial results for the first half of 2026, recording a 9% increase in revenue to N804 billion. This growth comes during a period of significant macroeconomic adjustments implemented by the federal government.

According to the head of the National Reform Service (NRS), these policy changes were crucial in stabilizing the broader economy. The NRS boss revealed on August 10, 2026, that without the administration's reforms, the national fuel subsidy bill could have escalated to N53 trillion.

Furthermore, the NRS boss noted that the exchange rate would have deteriorated significantly, potentially hitting N3,500 per dollar. The implementation of these reforms has helped mitigate deeper fiscal crises, providing a more stable environment for corporate operations.
