Kuwait Reports Six Injured in Iranian Attack on Residential Area

An Iranian attack on a residential area in northern Kuwait injured six people on Monday, the Gulf country’s health ministry announced. The incident occurred after Kuwait’s army reported earlier in the day that the nation’s air defenses were actively intercepting incoming missiles and drones.

The health ministry stated, “Falling projectiles and debris in a residential area in the north of the country after an Iranian aggression.” It further confirmed, “The total number of injuries rose to six, with varying degrees of wounds.”

Kuwait had also reported responding to similar attacks overnight from Sunday to Monday. Gulf nations, including Kuwait, have been targets of Iran’s retaliatory strikes since late February, following attacks by the US and Israel that initiated a regional conflict.

Iran has accused its neighbors of permitting US forces to conduct attacks from their territories. However, Gulf states have consistently denied these allegations.
