Dangote Group, Africa’s largest industrial conglomerate, has appointed Jamil Mohammed Abubakar as the new Managing Director of Infrastructure and Logistics. In his new capacity, Abubakar will report directly to Aliko Dangote. He will be responsible for developing logistics networks designed to bolster the group's industrial operations and enhance regional trade facilitation. This role is central to the company’s next phase of growth.
Abubakar possesses over 14 years of experience in the aviation sector, having held key positions at airlines such as IRS Airlines, Azman Air, NG Eagle, and XE Jets, including roles as Chief Pilot. His transition into infrastructure and logistics underscores a strategic effort to embed operational expertise within the group's large-scale industrial strategy.
