Coronation Infrastructure Fund has officially opened its Series II Offer, aiming to raise up to N20 billion to finance critical infrastructure projects across Nigeria. The offer consists of up to 186.9 million units priced at N107.00 per unit, issued under the fund's N200 billion Shelf Programme.
Aigbovbioise Aig-Imoukhuede, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Coronation Asset Management Limited, announced the launch following regulatory approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission. The additional capital will strengthen the fund's capacity to support creditworthy projects in key economic sectors.
Currently managing over N9.2 billion, the fund expects its assets under management to exceed N30 billion upon the successful completion of this series. The proceeds will provide long-term debt financing to infrastructure-related projects, companies, and special purpose vehicles.
The fund targets key sectors including transportation and utilities, telecommunications, energy, real estate, and social infrastructure. This Series II issuance builds on the inaugural Series I capital raise launched in September 2023, which secured N8.79 billion from 33 investors, with Pension Fund Administrators contributing 42% of the total.
Since its inception, the closed-end infrastructure debt fund has distributed N3.31 billion in income to unit holders. This track record is supported by its recent H1 2026 financial performance, where it reported an operating profit of N791.5 million and total income of N889.78 million, alongside a proposed income distribution of N8.985 per unit.
